It's our job to get excited about famous events with local ties. Sports teams winning championships, TV shows based on our city, JFK's death--good or bad, we love it. That's why we have a special fondness for former Poison lead singer Bret Michaels. Did you know he wrote "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" while sitting in a Dallas Laundromat? True story, and for that we forgive most of his really silly career...until now. Jackson, Tennessee, pop-country band Forty5 South has gone on a publicity frenzy ever since Michaels produced their latest album, We're Country So We Can, and no, not a second of it was made anywhere near Dallas, so we don't owe it any compliments. Still, the band's seven fans will get a kick out of their concert.
