Even though the gays coined "fierce" back in the mid-90s, Project Runway gay and winner Christian Siriano made it mainstream, so now everybody uses the "f" word. Appropriately, the 14th Street Gallery thinks some local artists are f'd up enough that they went and named their next exhibit accordingly. J.R. Compton of DallasArtsRevue curates some 40+ artists who make it work for FIERCE, which runs through July 29 at the 14th Street Gallery, 1412 14th St. in Plano. And I thought everything up north would be a hot tranny mess. For more information, visit DallasArtsRevue.com/fierce or 14thStreetGallery.com.
Tuesdays-Saturdays. Starts: July 10. Continues through July 29, 2008
