So you say you like baseball, huh? Ever been to a "big game"? You know, the ones that make you forget the rivulets of sweat behind your knees and the jerk behind you that poured beer down your back (OK, fine. That actually felt sorta good.) Well, the Library Bar at the Warwick Melrose likes to reward fans of America's past time. Each Wednesday, ball boys and girls can grab a brew (air-conditioned) and enter to win a trip to see their very own "big game" in San Francisco, Denver or Seattle (airfare, hotel and sa-weeeet tickets to the games are included). The final drawing will be for a "staycation" at the Warwick Melrose and a Rangers/Red Sox game in scenic Arlington. Just remember, all entries are scrapped like a splintered bat after each drawing, so re-entry each week is highly recommended. The Warwick Melrose, and it's Library Bar, are located at 3015 Oak Lawn Ave. at Cedar Springs. Call 214-521-5151 or visit warwickmelrosedallas.com.
Wednesdays, 9 p.m. Starts: July 30. Continues through Aug. 20, 2008
