The Libertine goes halvsies

This might be your last chance. Pay attention to what I'm telling you: This Sunday, you can get half-priced food at the Libertine. Yeah, that's right. The Libertine, home of that succulent steak sandwich, that sinful mac and cheese, and a ton of other tasty bites, is offering one last discount night to help ease the pain of gas prices. But word on the street is, if July's half-price Sundays are successful, the event might become a weekly event, so I really see nothing wrong with going 5 p.m. to midnight this Sunday to order a pantload of bites and beg for an extension. I know I'd risk public humiliation. Just remember to drink up too...and tip your server. (Oh, and Thursdays are keep-the-glass pint nights from 6 to 9 p.m. if you weren't looking to nosh.) The Libertine is located at 2101 Greenville Ave. Call 214-824-7900.
