Green Is Our Signature Color

The organic movement has laid claim to our lawns, our pantries and our laundry rooms. And now they're aiming for our closets. According to Eco-Centric, a clothing manufacturer, "Conventional farming devours roughly a third of a pound of pesticides and fertilizers to produce enough cotton for a single T-shirt." Oops. Sorry, Earth. Fortunately, you can revamp your wardrobe at the Organic in the City Fashion Show, which will include garments from Eco-Centric, Certaintees, Zensei and more. Industry specialists will also discuss how to choose "green" fashions.
