To the Stages of Tripoli

I will readily admit I've never seen stand-up comic Sam Tripoli perform. But after looking through the "Rants and Ravs" section of his Web site (I can only assume he means "Rants and Raves," but maybe he's referring to the Hebrew word for "rabbi"...in which case, points for randomness), I want to. He's ballsy, cocky, foul-mouthed and dirty--all characteristics that please me as a laugh-craving audience member. Tripoli performs at the Addison Improv, 4980 Belt Line Road, with various showtimes, through Sunday. Tickets are $15. Call 972-404-8501 or visit improvclubs.com.
