The Modern TGIF

For me, there are three reasons to take the TRE to Fort Worth--The Kimbell, The Modern and Pizzeria Uno. But only one will be offering a well-rounded night of music, art and food this Friday, when The Modern will present a cocktail hour, guided gallery tours with live jazz from the Steve Story Trio and dinner reservations at Café Modern. That can only equal a perfect evening and a totally impressive date night. Mark your calendar for the museum's First Fridays at the Modern, starting 5 p.m. Friday at the museum, 3200 Darnell St. in Fort Worth. Call 817-840-2157 or visit themodern.org for dinner reservations.
