All-Tell Attell

The snarky Comic returns to Big D

There's this guy who's known for wandering the streets late at night, kinda drunk, and harassing people by asking them lots of questions. He's pretty blue, smokes a lot and talks frequently about pirates and other people who are typically missing appendages. No, he's not the creepy homeless guy who hangs outside your favorite gas station asking for spare change. He's Dave Attell, and he's pretty effing famous. But you already knew that, because you're a huge Insomniac nut, you appreciate Attell's signature quick-witted non sequiturs, and you love a snarky bald man. You dirty comedy fan, you. But maybe you're also a videogame nut. Specifically, a videogame fan who loves golf-related videogames. Then you know that Attell is the voice of "Color Commentator" on Outlaw Golf 2. That's right: There was so much outlawing to be done on the green after the first Outlaw Golf, they had to make another one with Dave Attell in order to get the proper level of outlawage. Stalk Dave down and ask him about it after his show 7 p.m. Sunday at the House of Blues, 2200 N. Lamar St. Tickets are $30 to $35. Visit hob.com.
