The large, '50s-style diner serves great sandwiches, salads and veggie tacos, but the real draws here are the crispy outside, juicy inside chicken-fried steak and chicken-fried chicken and hot cornbread. Fresh, steamed vegetables are served on the side and vary by day, but staples and favorites are always available, including the potatoes mashed with skins intact, then smothered in cream gravy.
