Luna de Noche

2300 Victory Park Ln
(@Lamar)
Dallas, TX 75219
214-420-3050
Website
Tucked far, far away from the glittering, glowing lights of Victory Plaza, the sleek, upscale Victory Park location of Luna de Noche serves straight-up Tex-Mex with chic twists. Good Tex-Mex—which is certainly what Luna de Noche serves—hardly needs chic twists, but it seems our shiny new pre-fab entertainment district just rubs things that way. Underneath fancy garnishes, you won't find a more satisfying tortilla soup, and the ceviche (a cool, citrusy fish appetizer) is spot-on. Same goes for the enchiladas, as the restaurant makes a fine attempt at sexing them up with colorful peppers and cheese atop the tortillas, but it's ultimately unnecessary. The dark, modern décor makes for an inventive Dallas take on the typical Tex-Mex restaurant. Luna de Noche is a great place to take out-of-towners who want to experience our city's unique blend of American glitz and Mexican spice.
