St. Pete's Dancing Marlin

2730 Commerce St.
Dallas, TX 75226
214-698-1511
Website
This popular and very noisy Deep Ellum lunch favorite serves pub food that's inexpensive and decidedly better than the usual. Standouts are the pizzas, which feature an herb-infused thin crust and spicy tomato sauce, and the hamburgers and fries--especially those skins-on fries (pasta salad can be substituted for fries). St. Pete's also serves pasta, which can be hit-and-miss; we've had fettuccine with shriveled-up clams on more than one occasion. The salads are fresh and generous in size, and "Connie's Baklava," when available, is exceptional. Fast, professional service, including efficient takeout, and full bar.
