Sports, sports and more sports. The McKinney Avenue Tavern is a handsome picture-tube gallery flickering with action from everything that can be played with a ball except ben-wa. The signature of this bar is not a juicy burger (though the MAT's are more than respectable), but a huge 10-foot projection screen TV. Still the MAT serves reliable sports grub without any culinary fringe elements that might distract you from the instant replays: salads, fried cheese, sandwich, pastas. You get the picture.
